Meet The Clay Pelican
The Clay Pelican is a small pottery studio founded by Leah Hensley, a veteran, our very own graphic designer at Concrete & Palm, and ceramic artist based on Florida's Gulf Coast.
Leah brings her background in graphic design into every piece she creates, resulting in pottery that feels both beautiful and functional. Inspired by the coast and made entirely by hand, each piece has its own unique character, making no two exactly alike.
Designing Something Together
When we first started dreaming up this collaboration, we spent time exploring what would best represent both The Clay Pelican and Shop 32034.
Our goal was to create something that felt timeless, useful, and inspired by the slower pace of coastal living. Rather than designing something purely decorative, we kept coming back to the idea of an everyday piece, one that could live on a nightstand, entry table, desk, or coffee table and become part of your daily routine.
Together, we designed an exclusive handcrafted trinket dish that is equal parts beautiful and functional. Whether it holds your favorite jewelry, keys, collected shells, or other small keepsakes, it's designed to be a piece you'll reach for every day.
