We're excited to announce a collaboration with She Shells, a handmade jewelry brand created by local artist Ronna Paxton right here on Amelia Island.
Some of our favorite collaborations begin with a simple idea and a little bit of curiosity, and She Shells is the perfect example. What started as a creative project inspired by beach days and time spent with family has grown into a collection of handcrafted pieces that celebrate the beauty of the coast.
The Story Behind She Shells
She Shells didn't start with a business plan. For Ronna, it started with showing up for her son Jett. Her son began selling his own woodcarvings at local markets at just 14 years old, and Ronna joined him for those weekends spent creating, connecting, and sharing their work with the community. During those market days and beach walks, she began collecting shells along the shoreline and turning them into something new.
A few hand-sanded and painted shells eventually became a small addition to her market table. Then people started noticing them. What began as a creative way to spend time together grew into She Shells, a brand that has now become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Bringing the Collection to Life
For our collaboration with Ronna, we wanted to create a pair of earrings that captured the easygoing spirit of Amelia Island.
Together, we created two exclusive designs: the Classic Shell Studs and the Cabana Stripe Shell Studs. Each style comes in variations of our signature Shop 32034 colors, giving you the option to choose the pair that feels most like you.
Made One Pair at a Time
Every pair of earrings is handcrafted by Ronna using natural shells, meaning no two pairs are exactly alike. The slight differences in shape, texture, and color are what make each pair special and give them their own story.
The Classic Shell Studs are simple and timeless, with a colorful coastal feel that makes them easy to wear from everyday errands to special occasions.
The Cabana Stripe Shell Studs add a little more personality with hand-selected striped shells and playful pops of color, perfect for beach days, brunch dates, and everything in between.
